Store rules
Applies to buyers in server stores and to the owners of those servers
A short summary: how buying a role in a server store works, where the money goes and who is responsible for what.
1. For buyers
- Purchases are paid from your Echo site balance. You can top it up with a card, a YooMoney wallet or crypto on the payment page. You pay exactly the item price — the project's fee isn't added to it.
- Server shops accept only money topped up by payment: YooMoney or crypto. Project bonuses — Telegram rewards, partner cashback, credits from the staff — go to Premium and other purchases, but not to server shops.
- The Echo bot grants the role automatically, usually within a few seconds. To receive it, you must be a member of the server with the same Discord account you used to log in to the site.
- If the bot can't grant the role — for example, it lacks permissions or the role was deleted — the money is automatically returned to your site balance.
- A timed role is extended by buying the same item again: the new period is added to the time left. When the period ends, the bot removes the role.
- A timed role can renew automatically: a day before it ends, a renewal is bought from your balance at the same price. If the item got more expensive, changed or was removed, auto-renewal turns itself off and you get a notification; if there isn't enough money, nothing is charged. You can turn auto-renewal off in one click in “My purchases”.
- A role can be gifted to another member of the same server: the buyer pays, the chosen person gets the role and a notification on the site. If the bot can't give the gift, the money goes back to whoever paid.
- Promo codes are issued by the server owner. The discounted price is calculated at purchase and is never below 10 ₽.
- If the role was already given to you on the server manually, you can't buy it in the shop: when the term ends, the bot would remove it too.
- “Support the server” is an item without a role: you choose the amount from 10 ₽ up to the owner's limit, can leave a message and tick “anonymously” — then your name is not on the supporters board or in the bot's thank-you. Support is not refunded on request: the money comes back only if it could not be processed for a technical reason.
- A coin pack is server economy coins for rubles. The bot credits them to your balance on that server, usually within a few seconds; a pack can only be bought for yourself. Coins are non-refundable once credited. If they could not be credited (the economy was turned off, you are not on the server or your balance has reached its limit), the money automatically goes back to your site balance.
2. Who is responsible for what
- The items, their descriptions, the roles and what they give on the server are the responsibility of the server owner. Echo processes the payment and grants the role, but does not run the server or its rules.
- Take questions about an item to the server owner. If you can't come to an agreement, contact Echo support — we'll look at the purchase history.
3. For server owners
- The project's fee is 10% of each sale, 5% for servers with Premium. It is deducted from revenue: buyers pay exactly the price they see in the store.
- Revenue from a sale becomes available for withdrawal after 7 days. This is a buffer for refunds and disputes.
- Withdrawals start at 100 ₽ and are requested from the server panel. Requests are processed manually.
- The project may block a store for fraud or deceiving buyers. While a store is blocked, sales and withdrawals are suspended.
- A server owner can't buy in their own shop.
- Promo codes lower the price for the buyer; the project fee is taken from the amount actually paid. The owner can't gift roles in their own shop — just as they can't buy in it.
- Roles with moderation or management permissions (administrator, bans, kicks, timeouts, managing channels, roles, messages and nicknames, mentioning @everyone, etc.) are not sold. If a role gets such permissions after the shop is saved, the bot won't give it and will refund the money.
- Server support follows the same path as a role sale: the same fee, the same hold and withdrawal. The bot posts buyers' messages without formatting or mentions.
- Coin packs are sold while the economy is turned on on the server. Packs without Premium: 1, with Premium: up to 10. While packs are in the shop, roles with moderation and management permissions can't be sold in /shop: through coins they would be sold for rubles.
- An open shop with items is shown in the site's shop catalog. The owner can remove it from there in the settings — it keeps working by its link.
