Linked Roles

Discord roles for your achievements in Echo: Mafia rating, games played, Echo Premium support. The server admin sets the role requirements, and Discord itself checks them and grants the role.

Connect Echo to your Discord account

Do it once and your Echo stats appear in your Discord connections. Roles on every server that set them up become available based on these stats.

Connect Echo

Discord will ask for two permissions: to know who you are and to update your Echo connection. We get no access to your servers or messages.

What Echo sends to Discord

Five stats — Discord allows no more. They are shared across all servers: counted over every server with Echo, not just one.

  • Mafia rating
Current ELO in Echo ranked Mafia. Starts at 1000 and is softly compressed toward 1000 at the start of each season. Not sent without ranked games.
  • Mafia games played
All Mafia games played with Echo on all servers, ranked included.
  • Bunker games played
All Bunker games played with Echo on all servers.
  • Scribbles games played
All Scribbles games played with Echo on all servers.
  • Echo Premium supporter
“Yes” if you are currently paying for Echo Premium on at least one server. Trials don’t count.

Values update automatically: within 10–20 minutes after a game, everything else once a day.

To disconnect, go to Discord: User Settings → Authorized Apps → Echo → “Deauthorize”. We’ll notice on the next update, delete the access keys and send nothing more.

For admins: how to make a role for Echo achievements

The role is set up in Discord itself; the bot doesn’t grant it — Discord checks the requirements and grants the role on its own.

  1. 1Echo must be added to your server.
  2. 2Server Settings → Roles → pick a role (or create a new one) → the “Links” tab.
  3. 3“Add requirement” → Echo.
  4. 4Choose a stat and a threshold — for example, “Mafia rating” at least 1300 — and save the changes.
  5. 5Members claim the role themselves: server menu → “Linked Roles” → the role → connect Echo. Discord opens this page and, after connecting, grants the role to those who qualify.
Examples
  • • “Mafioso” — Mafia rating at least 1300.
  • • “Bunker veteran” — Bunker games played at least 25.
  • • “Echo supporter” — Echo Premium supporter: yes.

A role can have several requirements. Stats are shared across all servers: games played on other servers with Echo count too.
